A selection of Record Sleeves produced for Shy FX’s highly renowned Digital Soundboy record label.
We were asked to produce a visual language for the label that incorporated Shy FX’s love of old Reggae record sleeves mixed with a fresh & eye catching contemporary feel.
We produced and designed this series of T-shirt’s based on the classic tune Voodoo Ray in collaboration with legendary producer A Guy Called Gerald.
Protean were asked to re-brand and re-launch the brand that is Club Colosseum in Vauxhall. Club Colosseum used to host the now legendary night Twice as Nice in the late 90’s early naughties. Upon their re opening they asked us to come up with a new Visual identity, website and assorted printed material for them.
We were comissioned to do some work with Rapper Taz, as well as the compilation for tripple X Hip Hop.

Protean produced the complete visual language for TOV Music Group for a number of years, designing all promotional material, CD & Record releases as well as their Websites.
ATM Magazine (formerly Atmosphere Magazine) is the worlds longest running Drum & Bass music & culture magazine, starting out as a free photocopied rave ‘zine in 1992.
By the late 90’s ATM had evolved into a full colour A4 format with 92 pages of content. Protean tok over layout & design duties in 2003 and continued to design all the issues of the magazine until 2009.
